Which stores does it work with?
Any store with a product page. We haven’t found one PricePing can’t read yet. If you do, tell us at [email protected].
How often does it check?
Every active product you track is checked at least once every 24 hours. On the paid plan your phone also checks in the background several times a day, so a drop reaches you sooner. Both happen with the app closed.
What happens when a store blocks us?
We read the page a different way. A refused request is retried through a service that fetches the public page on our behalf, and Amazon is read by your own phone, in the marketplace your phone can buy from. Until a new price comes in, the product keeps the last one we actually read and tells you when we read it, so you always know how fresh the number is.
What does it cost?
There is a free tier, and a paid one for tracking more products and checking them more often. The purchase screen in the app shows exactly what each includes, what it costs in your own currency, the billing period and any free trial. Subscriptions bought through Apple’s App Store are billed and managed by Apple.
How do I cancel?
In the Subscriptions section of your iOS settings, at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple takes the payment, so Apple handles cancellations and refunds under its own terms.
How do I delete my account?
From the Account tab in the app. It takes effect immediately and removes your account, your tracked products and their price history. Cancel your subscription separately in your iOS settings: deleting the account does not stop the billing.
