Disclosure: PricePing makes this page, and PricePing is one of the apps in it. PricePing is not affiliated with the other apps. Facts about them come from their own Google Play listings and help pages, checked on November 5, 2026 (see Sources). We quote no ratings and made up no scores.
The short answer
Pick by where you shop. If it is all Amazon, install Keepa and stop there. If your list spans Amazon, fashion stores and independent shops, you want a tracker that takes any link: PricePing, the price tracker app for iPhone and Android, reads almost any store and pings you on your phone, but it is a paid subscription with no free tier. If you want to start free, Whisprice and Glass It also take links.
The Android options compared
| App | Stores | Alerts | Price history | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Keepa | Amazon only | Target price, back in stock | Years of Amazon history, over 8 billion products | Free for shoppers |

| Whisprice | Says it tracks any store with a URL and a price | Target price and price drop; stock availability | Shows a price history for each product | Free to download; paid premium features |
| Price Tracker & Price History (Glass It) | Amazon, Walmart, Target, Etsy, Flipkart and others, by pasted URL | Your discount price; daily checks; email and optional push | Its own price history data | Contains ads; in-app purchases |

Which one to pick
- You only buy from Amazon
- Keepa. It has far more Amazon data than PricePing will ever have, including years of history you can read on the day you install it. It also has a barcode scanner for checking a shelf price. PriceNotify is a simpler Amazon option that can import a wish list.
- You don’t want to pay
- Whisprice is free to download, and Glass It carries ads. Both take a pasted link. Glass It says a person will fix a product it can’t track. Check what each one’s free version limits before you rely on it.
- You want coupons more than alerts
- PayPal Honey. It is built around coupons and rewards; its Droplist price alerts come by email.
- You shop at many stores and want one list
- PricePing. It has read prices from Amazon, Nike, Zara, Uniqlo, Lululemon, Allbirds, Gymshark, Gorman, Noon, Namshi and many other stores, in each store’s own currency. You can add the same product at up to five stores and it marks the cheapest. It works in the Gulf too, where Keepa and Google’s Track price don’t: see price tracker for the UAE.
How to track a price on Android with PricePing
- Install PricePing from Google Play. Install the app and pick a plan. Allow notifications when Android asks, or you won't get price alerts.
- Open the product in Chrome or the store's app. Go to the product's own page, not a search or a category page.
- Tap Share, then PricePing. PricePing opens and adds the product to your Watching list. You can also copy the link, tap + in PricePing and paste it.
- Choose your alert. Every product starts on Any drop. Open its alert to choose Below a price or % drop instead. Stock alerts are on by default.
- Wait for the ping. PricePing checks the price at least once a day and sends a push notification when a check finds a match. The price history builds from the day you add the product.
What is different on Android
PricePing is the same product on both phones: the same stores, alerts, stock alerts, price history and plans. A few things work differently on Android:
- Sharing opens the app. When you share a product, PricePing comes to the front and adds it. On iPhone, a card appears over the store’s page instead.
- Your phone’s checks depend on Android. Our servers aim to check each product every 12 to 24 hours. On a paid plan your phone can check more often, whenever Android lets PricePing run in the background, so opening the app now and then helps.
- Google Play handles the subscription. Manage or cancel it in Google Play, under Payments & subscriptions. If you subscribed on iPhone, you manage it there.
PricePing’s US prices: Personal (20 products) $4.99/month or $39.99/year; Power (50) $7.99/month or $59.99/year. 7-day free trial on monthly plans. US prices. Google Play shows your local price.
PricePing’s limits, honestly
- It is a subscription with no free tier. Monthly plans start with a 7-day free trial; yearly plans don’t have one.
- Price history starts when you add a product. It can’t show what the price was last year.
- Prices are checked at least once a day, not every second, so alerts are not instant.
