Disclosure: PricePing makes this guide. lululemon is not affiliated with PricePing and has not reviewed this page. The policy details come from lululemon’s own Help Centre and Terms of Use, checked on October 20, 2026 (see Sources). Policies change, so check the page for your country before you rely on it.
The short answer
lululemon does not publish a price adjustment policy. Its US and Canada Help Centres have no price adjustment or price match page. What it does publish is a 30-day return policy: unworn, unwashed, tags on, with proof of purchase. So if something you paid full price for drops within 30 days, the route the written policy supports is to return it and buy it again at the lower price. The catch: a We Made Too Much markdown is final sale, so the second purchase can’t be returned for a refund.
What lululemon’s policy says
Checked on October 20, 2026 on lululemon’s US Help Centre:
- Price adjustments
- None listed. The US and Canada Help Centres have no price adjustment or price match page, and the return policy doesn't mention one.
- Return window
- 30 days from purchase, by mail or in a lululemon store (not at outlet stores). Purchases made between October 13 and December 24 can be returned until January 23.
- Condition
- The original product, unworn and unwashed, with hang tags attached, in its original packaging where there was one, and with proof of purchase.
- Sale items
- Items from We Made Too Much are final sale. lululemon Members can exchange sale items, or return them for a gift card, in store only.
- Country
- Returns must be made in the same country the item was bought in.
- Online and in-store prices
- lululemon's Terms of Use say prices shown online or in the app may only apply to purchases made there, and may differ from in-store prices.
You may read on forums that lululemon will adjust a price if you ask. That may happen in some cases, but it is not in the written policy, so treat it as a favour you can ask for, not a right.
What to do when the price drops
- Check the date. You have 30 days from purchase (or until January 23 for purchases made between October 13 and December 24).
- Check the item. It has to be unworn and unwashed, with hang tags attached and proof of purchase.
- Check where the lower price is. If it is in We Made Too Much, the new purchase will be final sale. Make sure the size and colour you want are actually available at that price before you send anything back.
- Ask first, if you like. Contact lululemon through Live Chat or Contact Us and ask whether they can help with the difference. If they can’t, carry on.
- Buy at the new price, then return the first one.Buying first means you don’t lose your size while the refund goes through. Return the original by mail or at a lululemon store in the same country (not an outlet).
How to hear about the drop while you can still act
A 30-day window is only useful if you notice the drop inside it. Most people don’t check a product page again after they buy. lululemon’s app lets you save products to Favorites to come back to later, but its App Store listing doesn’t describe price-drop alerts.
PricePing, the iPhone price tracker app, does that part. Open the product in the lululemon app or on lululemon.com, tap Share, choose PricePing, and pick Any drop. PricePing checks the price at least once a day (our servers every 12 to 24 hours, and your phone can check more often) and sends a push notification when a check finds a lower price. The product’s price history starts on the day you add it, so add it on the day you buy.
The same works before you buy: set a Below a price alert at what you would pay and wait. See how to get notified when a price drops for the alert types.
PricePing’s limits, honestly
- It is a subscription with no free tier. Monthly plans start with a 7-day free trial; yearly plans don’t have one.
- Price history starts when you add a product. It can’t show what the price was last year.
- Prices are checked at least once a day, not every second, so alerts are not instant.
Questions
Does lululemon do price adjustments?
lululemon does not publish a price adjustment policy. When we checked its US and Canada Help Centres on October 20, 2026, there was no price adjustment or price match page, and the return policy did not mention one. What it does publish is a 30-day return policy for unworn, unwashed items with tags attached.
What can I do if something I bought at lululemon goes on sale?
If you are still inside the 30-day return window and the item is unworn, unwashed and still has its tags, the written policy lets you return it and buy it again at the lower price. You can also ask lululemon through Contact Us or Live Chat, but an adjustment is not a written promise, so don't count on one.
Can I return a We Made Too Much item?
Not for a refund. lululemon says items from We Made Too Much are final sale. lululemon Members can exchange sale items, or return them for a gift card, in store only. So if the lower price you found is a We Made Too Much markdown, buying it again at that price makes the new purchase final sale.
Are lululemon prices the same online and in store?
Not always. lululemon's Terms of Use say prices shown online or in the app may only be good for purchases made there and may differ from in-store pricing.
How do I know if a lululemon item I bought drops in price?
Track it. With PricePing, the iPhone price tracker app, you share the product from the lululemon app or website, pick an alert such as Any drop, and get a push notification when a check finds a lower price. PricePing checks at least once a day, so you usually hear about a drop while you can still act on it.
Is the policy the same in every country?
Each lululemon country site has its own Help Centre, and returns must be made in the country of purchase. We checked the US and Canada pages. If you shop on another country's site, read its return policy before you buy.
