Disclosure: PricePing makes this guide, and one step uses the PricePing app. PricePing is not made by Nike and is not affiliated with it. Nike’s policy is paraphrased from its own US and Canadian help pages, checked on October 20, 2026 (see Sources). Nike can change it at any time and decides each request at its own discretion, so read the current page before you rely on it.
The short answer
Yes, in the US and Canada. If you are a Nike Member, bought an item on Nike.com or in the Nike App, and an eligible Nike promotion or sale lowers its price within 14 days of your purchase, Nike will refund the difference to your original form of payment. The cheaper item must be in stock and exactly the same (style number, SKU, colour and size), you must contact Nike within the 14 days, and each product can be adjusted once. Nike does not match other stores’ prices.
What Nike’s policy covers
- Who: Nike Members only. Nike says membership is free.
- Where you bought: Nike.com or the Nike App. The policy is for digital purchases only.
- When: the lower price must come within 14 days of your purchase, and you must contact Nike within those 14 days.
- What: the exact item, in stock on Nike’s website, discounted by an eligible Nike promotion or sale.
- How you are paid: the difference goes back to your original form of payment, once per product.
What it doesn’t cover
Nike’s US terms exclude, among other things:
- Buy one, get one free deals, sitewide promotions, final sales, rebates, gifts with purchase, loyalty programmes, credit rewards, coupons, the birthday offer, employee discounts and pro pass.
- Custom products and Nike By You, out-of-stock styles, and products on backorder or pre-order.
- Samples, demos, defective, Nike Refurbished and pre-owned products.
- Products sold in the SNKRS App.
- Products bought at another retailer, and lower prices found only in a Nike or other physical store. Nike Clearance store purchases are not eligible either.
- A difference that comes from shipping costs or sales tax, or from a pricing error.
Nike also says price adjustments are a courtesy: it can refuse one, cap how many a customer gets, or change the terms at any time.
How to claim a Nike price adjustment
- Buy as a Nike Member. Nike’s policy covers Nike Members only, and membership is free. Buy on Nike.com or in the Nike App, not in a store or the SNKRS App.
- Watch the price for 14 days. Add the product to a price tracker such as PricePing, the iPhone price tracker app, with an Any drop alert, so you hear about a markdown without checking the page every day.
- Check the drop qualifies. The lower price must be on the exact item you bought (same style number, SKU, colour and size), in stock on Nike’s website, and from an eligible Nike sale, not a coupon, a sitewide promotion or a member offer.
- Contact Nike within 14 days of your purchase. Chat with or call Nike from its help pages, with your order details and the current product page and price ready for them to verify.
- Get the refund. If Nike agrees the item is eligible, it refunds the difference to your original form of payment. Each product can be adjusted once.
How it differs by country
| Nike site | What its help pages say |
|---|---|
| United States | Member price adjustment within 14 days, with the exclusions above. Most purchases can be returned within 60 days. |
| Canada | The same 14-day member policy. Its exclusions are worded for Canada (products imported from outside Canada) and don’t name SNKRS or Nike By You. |
| United Kingdom | We found no price adjustment policy: the page’s address returns Article Not Found, and the returns policy (30 days for most items) doesn’t mention one. |
| Australia | We found no price adjustment page (Article Not Found). |
| Elsewhere | Not checked. Look in your local Nike help centre, or ask Nike. |
How PricePing helps
The hard part of the 14-day rule is noticing the drop in time. PricePing, the iPhone price tracker app, does the watching: share the product from the Nike app or nike.com, leave it on Any drop for two weeks after you buy, and you get a push notification when a check finds a lower price. The product’s price history also shows you when the drop happened, which helps when you count the 14 days. Before you buy, a Below a price alert can mean you never need an adjustment at all. See the Nike price tracker guide for the steps.
PricePing checks at least once a day, so a sale that lasts only a few hours can come and go between checks. It tells you about the drop; the request to Nike is yours to make.
PricePing’s limits, honestly
- It is a subscription with no free tier. Monthly plans start with a 7-day free trial; yearly plans don’t have one.
- Price history starts when you add a product. It can’t show what the price was last year.
- Prices are checked at least once a day, not every second, so alerts are not instant.
Questions
Does Nike do price adjustments?
Yes, in the US and Canada, for Nike Members. If you bought an item on Nike.com or in the Nike App and an eligible Nike promotion or sale lowers its price within 14 days, Nike refunds the difference. The lower-priced item must be in stock and exactly the same: style number, SKU, colour and size.
How many days do I have to ask Nike for a price adjustment?
14 days from your purchase on Nike.com or in the Nike App, according to Nike’s US and Canadian help pages checked on October 20, 2026.
Do I need to be a Nike Member?
Yes. Nike’s terms say you must be a Nike Member to receive a price adjustment. Nike says membership is free.
Does Nike price match other stores?
No. The adjustment covers a lower price from an eligible Nike sale on Nike’s own website. Nike’s terms exclude products bought at another retailer and lower prices found only in a Nike or other physical store.
Does Nike do price adjustments in the UK?
We could not find one. On October 20, 2026 the price adjustment page’s address on Nike’s UK help site returned Article Not Found, and the UK returns policy does not mention price adjustments. Ask Nike UK directly before you rely on one.
Are SNKRS purchases eligible?
No, not in the US: Nike’s US terms exclude products sold in the SNKRS App, as well as Nike By You custom products and pre-orders.
What if the price drops after 14 days?
The adjustment no longer applies. In the US, Nike’s returns policy gives you 60 days to return or exchange most purchases, so a return and a new order is the remaining option, subject to Nike’s return rules and stock.
