Disclosure: PricePing makes this guide. Uniqlo is not affiliated with PricePing and has not reviewed this page. The policies come from Uniqlo’s own customer service pages for each country (see Sources). Canada, the UK and Australia were checked live on October 20, 2026. Uniqlo USA’s help site would not load from outside the US, so the US rules come from its latest archived copies (June and January 2026). Check your country’s page before you rely on it.
The short answer
In the US and Canada, yes, in store, within 14 days. Uniqlo gives a one-time price adjustment on an in-store purchase if you ask within 14 days of buying it. Online orders don’t qualify in either country. Uniqlo UK says it can’t refund the difference on online orders, and Uniqlo Australia doesn’t refund the difference; Australia suggests returning the item under its return policy and buying it again at the new price. Uniqlo USA adds that exchanges, returns and price adjustments have to be made in the country of purchase.
Uniqlo’s policy, country by country
| Country | Bought in store | Ordered online | How we checked |
|---|---|---|---|
| United States | One price adjustment per purchase, in store, within 14 days. Receipt required; the item does not need to be with you. Not for items bought during pre-advertised promotions. The Ala Moana store in Hawaii does not match online or mainland prices. | Not eligible for price adjustments. | Archived copies from June 2026 (store) and January 2026 (online) |
| Canada | One price adjustment, in store, within 14 days. Bring the original receipt and the item, unworn and unwashed with its RFID price tag attached and matching the receipt. | Not eligible for price adjustments, which Uniqlo puts down to system limitations. | Live, October 20, 2026 |
| United Kingdom | Not covered by the page we found. | Prices can change at any time, and Uniqlo says it can't refund the difference. | Live, October 20, 2026 |
| Australia | No partial refund or price match after purchase. If the item meets the Change of Mind return policy (unworn, tags attached, original receipt), you can return it and buy it again at the new price. | Same answer: the price paid was correct at the time, so no retroactive discount. | Live, October 20, 2026 |
We only list countries where we could read Uniqlo’s own answer. If yours isn’t here, search your country’s Uniqlo customer service site for “price adjustment” or “price changed”.
How to claim it in the US or Canada
- Check it was an in-store purchase made in the last 14 days, in the same country.
- Check the purchase isn’t excluded. In the US, items bought during a pre-advertised promotion don’t qualify, and the Ala Moana store in Hawaii doesn’t match online or mainland prices.
- Take your receipt to a Uniqlo store. In Canada, take the item too: unworn, unwashed, with the RFID price tag still attached and matching the receipt.
- Ask once. It is a one-time adjustment, so if the price might fall further, you may want to wait, as long as you stay inside the 14 days.
Bought online? Neither country adjusts online orders. If the item can still be returned under the online return policy for your country, you can buy it again at the lower price and return the first one.
Catch the drop inside the 14 days
Fourteen days goes quickly, and nobody re-checks a shirt they already bought. Uniqlo’s own app can notify you when a Favorite goes on sale, which is useful if you remember to favourite things. To be told about any drop on a specific item, in an app that also watches other stores, track it:
PricePing, the price tracker app for iPhone and Android: open the item in the Uniqlo app or on uniqlo.com, tap Share, choose PricePing, and pick Any drop. PricePing checks at least once a day (our servers aim for every 12 to 24 hours, and your phone can check more often) and sends a push notification when a check finds a lower price, in your Uniqlo store’s own currency. Its price history starts on the day you add the item, so add it the day you buy it. For more on tracking Uniqlo, see the Uniqlo price tracker guide.
PricePing’s limits, honestly
- It is a subscription with no free tier. Monthly plans start with a 7-day free trial; yearly plans don’t have one.
- Price history starts when you add a product. It can’t show what the price was last year.
- Prices are checked at least once a day, not every second, so alerts are not instant.
Questions
Does Uniqlo do price adjustments?
Only in some countries, and only in store. Uniqlo USA and Uniqlo Canada offer a one-time price adjustment in store within 14 days of purchase. Online orders are not eligible in either country. Uniqlo UK says it can't refund the difference on online orders, and Uniqlo Australia says it cannot refund the difference.
Can I get a Uniqlo price adjustment on an online order?
No, not in the US or Canada: both say online orders are not eligible for price adjustments. Uniqlo UK says it can't refund the difference on online orders. If the item can still be returned under your country's return policy, returning it and buying it again at the new price is the way the policies leave open.
How long do I have to ask for a Uniqlo price adjustment?
14 days from the original purchase date, in the US and Canada, for items bought in store. It is a one-time adjustment.
What do I need to bring for a Uniqlo price adjustment?
In the US, the receipt; Uniqlo says the item does not need to be present. In Canada, the original receipt and the item itself, unworn and unwashed, with the RFID price tag attached and matching the receipt.
Does the price adjustment cover Uniqlo sales?
In the US it does not cover items bought during pre-advertised promotions. A markdown that appears after you bought at the regular price is the case the policy is for.
How do I find out if something I bought at Uniqlo dropped in price?
Track it on the day you buy it. With PricePing, the price tracker app for iPhone and Android, you share the product from the Uniqlo app or website, pick Any drop, and get a push notification when a check finds a lower price. PricePing checks at least once a day, so a drop inside the 14 days usually reaches you in time.
