Disclosure: PricePing makes this page. Zara is not connected with PricePing. Facts about Zara’s app and policies come from Zara’s own help center, checked on October 20, 2026 (see Sources).
The short answer
Zara’s help center describes no price-drop alert: its Favorites save items, and its Coming soon email covers sizes coming back in stock, not prices. To hear about a Zara markdown, share the item to a price tracker app. With PricePing, the iPhone price tracker app, you pick an alert (any drop, below a price, or a percentage drop) and get a push notification when a check finds a drop that matches, in your Zara store’s own currency. Its Stock alerts, on by default, also ping you when the item sells out and when it comes back in stock.
What Zara’s own app does
- Favorites. Registered customers can save up to 100 items and share the list by link. Zara says a favourite isn’t a reservation, and its help page describes no price notifications.
- Coming soon. When your size is out of stock and shows Coming soon, you can leave your email and Zara will tell you if it comes back within 15 days. After that the request expires.
- Check in-store availability. Zara.com can show which nearby stores have an item, though Zara calls that stock information a guide only.
Zara and PricePing: who does what
| PricePing | Zara app | |
|---|---|---|
| Price drops | Push notification on any drop, below a price, or a % drop | No price alerts described in Zara's help center |
| Back in stock | Stock alerts, on by default: a ping when the item sells out and when it comes back. It watches the item, not one size | “Coming soon” sizes: Zara emails you if your size is back within 15 days |
| Saved items | Your Watching list, with price history from the day you add each item | Favorites: up to 100 items, shareable by link, for registered customers |
| Other stores | Almost any online store, in the same list | Zara only |
Use both: Zara’s Coming soon for one size, PricePing for the price and for the item selling out or coming back.
How to track a Zara price with PricePing
- Install PricePing, the iPhone price tracker app, and allow notifications when it asks.
- Open the item in the Zara app or on zara.com in Safari.
- Tap Share and choose PricePing, or copy the link and paste it in PricePing. The item goes into your Watching list, priced in your Zara store's currency.
- Choose an alert: Below a price if you know what you would pay, % drop for a real markdown, or Any drop.
- When the ping comes, check your size is still there and buy on Zara as usual.
Zara runs a separate site for each country. We have read prices from Zara’s US and UAE stores, and PricePing shows each item in the currency of the Zara store you shared it from.
Already bought it? Watch it for 30 days
Zara doesn’t refund the difference when a price drops after you buy, but in the US, the UK and the UAE you have 30 days to return an item in its original condition with its labels. Keep tracking what you just bought with an Any drop alert: if it is marked down inside those 30 days, you can buy it again at the lower price and return the first one. Which alert to pick for Zara
- Below a price when you would buy at a set number. You hear nothing until it gets there.
- % drop when you only want a proper markdown, such as 30% or more.
- Any drop for items you already own and might return, or will buy soon anyway.
PricePing’s limits, honestly
- It is a subscription with no free tier. Monthly plans start with a 7-day free trial; yearly plans don’t have one.
- Price history starts when you add a product. It can’t show what the price was last year.
- Prices are checked at least once a day, not every second, so alerts are not instant.
Questions
Does Zara have price-drop alerts?
Not that Zara describes. Its help center explains Favorites, which save up to 100 items, and an email when an out-of-stock size marked Coming soon is back within 15 days, but no notification when a price drops. A price tracker app fills that gap.
How do I track a Zara price on iPhone?
Open the item in the Zara app or Safari, tap Share and choose a price tracker app such as PricePing, the iPhone price tracker app. Pick an alert (any drop, below a price, or a percentage drop) and you get a push notification when a check finds a matching drop.
Can PricePing tell me when a Zara item is back in stock?
Yes, for the item as a whole. PricePing's Stock alerts are on by default for every product: you get a ping when the item sells out and again when it comes back in stock. It watches the item, not one size, so for a single size use Zara's own Coming soon option: Zara says it emails you if that size is restocked within 15 days.
Can I see a Zara item's price history?
From the day you start watching it. PricePing records every price it sees from the day you add an item, so you can tell a real markdown from a small change. It can't show prices from before you added it.
If a Zara price drops after I buy, can I get the difference back?
Not as a price adjustment: Zara's help pages say it doesn't adjust prices for items that are later reduced. You can buy the item again at the new price and return the first one within 30 days. See the Zara price adjustment guide for the details by country.
